Alejandro (Ale) Diaz is a Landscape Finance Manager at Commonland, where he supports landscape partners with mobilizing finance for investment opportunities that contribute to large-scale landscape restoration initiatives. More generally, he also supports landscape partners in Latin America.

Previously, Alejandro supported the design and development of blended finance mechanisms for nature based solutions in Global Majority countries and started his career working in finance in Canada, where he obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter. He is from Mexico City and is currently based in Amsterdam.
